Classic Revival influences are evident in Bayfront Retreat, designed by Allison Ramsey Architects, Inc., of Beaufort, South Carolina. Bayfront Retreat has two interior staircases, one in the foyer and one off the breakfast room. The dining room is to the right of the foyer, with access to a sunroom and the kitchen. A powder room and sitting room with a box bay window are located in the foyer, leading to the family room. The family room is adjacent to the deck. The kitchen and breakfast room are centrally located. A utility room offers storage and a rear entrance from the deck.

All bedrooms are located upstairs. A light-filled sitting room connects the stairways and bedrooms. The master bedroom has a private porch and bath. The two other bedrooms each have private baths. A third staircase leads to the attic.
