DESCRIPTION

This house may recall the charm and character of your grandparents' country home or even spark memories of an old, in-town favorite. That's the beauty of Lanier. With its wrapping front porch, decorative railing, and Palladian accents, the design captures the easy formality of the past with interiors planned for today's lifestyles. This enhances possibilities for both formal and informal living.

Designed by John Tee of Atlanta, the house has wide cased openings between rooms that combine with high ceilings (9 feet on the first floor) to produce a spacious effect. The use of decks and porches along with lots of unfinished bonus space make the house look even bigger than it is. The plans for Lanier include construction drawings for an attached garage. In addition, details are given for a crawlspace foundation.
